Make a Donation

Contributions will be used to support the objectives of Rise Above Barriers Society through the following activities:

1. Purchasing a Black Diamond model of the TrailRider that will be donated to Recreation Integration Victoria upon our return from Nepal. People living with disabilities on Vancouver Island will then be able to use the TrailRider through Recreation Integration Victoria’s inventory of outdoor equipment.
2. Supporting Team MS Fits in their journey to Everest Base Camp with Pippa. This journey represents a significant financial commitment for each team member and therefore some funding will be used to help with our costs. Without a strong team this project would not be possible.
3. Improving the quality of life for those living with Multiple Sclerosis in the Victoria area by donating additional funds to a program administered by the Capital Region Chapter of the MS Society that assists them in purchasing aids they cannot afford.

Our goal is to raise $100,000 through donations and sponsorship.

We are accepting donations through regular mail or online. Please follow the instructions outlined below. Donations will qualify for a tax receipt through Victoria Integration Society. To receive a tax receipt, please ensure that the cheque is made payable to "Victoria Integration Society re: Rise Above Barriers Society". If you choose to donate online, make sure that the fund designated on the CanadaHelps website is "Rise Above Barriers".
